Kingsville is a city in Texas. It is the county seat of Kleberg County.〔(【引用サイトリンク】accessdate=2011-06-07 )〕 The population was 26,213 at the time of the 2010 census. Kingsville is the principal city of the Kingsville Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is part of the larger Corpus Christi-Kingsville Combined Statistical Area. The community was established in 1904 after the St. Louis, Brownsville and Mexico Railway completed a line through the town. A post office was established that same year. The city is named after Richard King, owner of nearby King Ranch. The Naval Air Station Kingsville is a military airport located 3 miles east of the city. It is one of the U.S. Navy’s premier locations for Navy jet aviation training. ==Geography== Kingsville is located at (27.515024, -97.865507). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which is land and (0.22%) is water.
